Pricing
Scoped to the work, not to a tier
There is no self-serve plan and no published rate card. Every engagement is priced against a defined scope, so the honest version of this page is how scoping works and what the bands are, rather than a table of figures that would not survive contact with your problem.
Engagement shapes
- Scoped build
- A defined system delivered against an agreed specification, with the operating documents and the verification pipeline included rather than quoted separately.
Best when the outcome is clear and the constraint is delivery. - Discovery and architecture
- A short, bounded engagement that produces a specification, an architecture, a risk register and an implementation plan you own outright, whether or not the build follows.
Best when the problem is understood but the shape of the solution is not. - Platform and modernization
- Work on a system that already exists and already has users: isolating tenants, closing security gaps, replacing a failing component, or making a release process trustworthy.
Best when something is in production and cannot simply be rewritten. - Ongoing engineering
- A continuing engagement against a standing backlog, with the same release gates applied to routine work as to a launch.
Best when the system is live and the work does not stop.
Budget bands
These are the bands ClosedLab scopes against. Naming the one you are working within helps route an inquiry to the right conversation; it is not a quote and it commits you to nothing. “Not sure yet” is a real answer that will not slow a response down.
- Not sure yet
- Under $10,000
- $10,000–$25,000
- $25,000–$75,000
- $75,000–$150,000
- $150,000+
What happens after you send an inquiry
The intake form is not enabled on this deployment, so both controls below open a direct email to ClosedLab rather than submitting a form. A person reads it and confirms whether the work is a fit; if it is not, you are told that rather than left waiting.
A scoped proposal follows the conversation, not the form. Nothing is charged and no commitment exists until a scope is agreed in writing.
Before you decide
The security page lists what is actually enforced, and docs describes what is written down and delivered with an engagement. Both are worth reading before a first conversation.
